This is the 2000 US Leif Ericson millennium commemorative set. NGC certified in PF69 Ultra Cameo, the United States Mint worked with the Republic of Iceland in commemoration of the millennium of the discovery of the New World by Leif Ericson. The US tender coin is a 90% Silver Dollar Proof, with a Viking ship on the reverse. The Icelandic legal tender coin is a 90% silver 1000 Kronur proof. Both coins were minted by the Philadelphia Mint (Iceland coin has no mintmark).
