Show Items

There are a number of ways to watch us on show nights and we love that. We love to be able to get to you in as many ways as possible. But do you, The Coin Vault customer, know what goes on before, during, and after the red light comes on to signal us ‘live on air”? To be honest, the behind-the-scenes can get pretty monotonous, but as soon as the camera turns on, anything can happen.

To take you through a typical show day, we have developed a timeline if you will to describe the makings of a single show from start to finish.

Missy Inputting Product

  • 2:30 pm - Vault Finds and 10in10 items are put on a show run and sent to the call center.
  • 2:30 pm-6:00 pm - Missy will start creating and putting all brand new items in the system before the show.
  • 2:00-5:00 pm - Andy and Brock will put together and create items, discuss pricing, talk/meet with vendors.
  • 6:15 pm-6:45 pm - Production meeting/dinner will take place; show run gets sent to call center and PCD; control room and cameras turned on and prepared for live; imported show run for graphics.
  • 7:00 pm - LIVE SHOW starts! - Hosts, Cameras, Graphics, Director, Producer create/operate a show!
  • 7:00 pm-12:00 am - Show remains live; call center takes phone calls and orders.
  • 12:00 am-12:15 am - Andy puts together overnight show run for live stream until next show time; the director makes sure everything remains running; the studio shuts down.
Andy & Brock discussing product

Although everything you see is very put together on-air and the schedule above describes a perfect day, anything can happen! The product can come in at the last minute, technology can crash, and emergencies can take place that alters the way day-to-day operations take place. It all goes without saying that a show from start to finish may look the same every night but is put together very differently every day. In all honesty, that is what makes our job so very exciting!

So the next time you, The Coin Vault customer, is watching one of our shows either on a Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday night live, watching it on Facebook or YouTube, or are streaming in through a device like Roku, remember that it takes a village to put together a show every day/night. There are a number of working parts and pieces and one does not simply work without another. We hope you enjoy the show just as much as we enjoy all the time put in when making it! Happy watching from our family to yours!
