Introduced in mid-2021, the Silver Eagle Type 2 refreshed the series with notable design and security improvements while maintaining the coin’s essential identity. The new Eagle Landing reverse was designed by Emily Damstra and coincided with the American Eagle Program's 35th Anniversary.
