Certified by NGC in PF 69 Ultra Cameo, this 1986 Statue of Liberty Half Dollar Commemorative was struck at San Francisco. It was issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty dedication, in addition to being part of a bigger program that would support the restoration efforts for the monument and Ellis Island.

REVERSE: Features a newly arrived immigrant family looking towards the New York skyline from the dock of Ellis Island. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, A NATION OF IMMIGRANTS, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and HALF DOLLAR.
