The United States Mint is getting ready for their next mega release in their 2023 Morgan and Peace Silver Dollar Program on Wednesday, August 9th, beginning at 12pm EST. For the first time ever, you will be able to own Proof Morgan and Peace dollars!
Struck at San Francisco with a stunning Proof finish, the 2023 Morgan Silver Dollar will be available for $80.00. The George T. Morgan design will contain 0.859 Troy ounces of .999 fine silver and have a mintage and product limit of 400,000. The household limit will be set at 25.
The 2023 Peace Silver Dollar will also be available for $80.00 and contain 0.859 Troy ounces of .999 fine silver. The Anthony de Francisci design will come with a Proof finish and have the same 400,000 mintage and product limit as the Morgan dollar. Its household limit is currently set at 25.
Both “S” minted dollars will come in Original Government Packaging accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
