Certified by PCGS in PR70 Deep Cameo, this Type 2 Susan B. Anthony Dollar from 1981 was struck at San Francisco and is featured in the Blue Label.

REVERSE: Features an adaptation of the Apollo 11 insignia which depicts an eagle landing on the moon. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and ONE DOLLAR is inscribed.

OBVERSE: Susan B. Anthony's portrait is featured on the obverse, along with the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, the S mintmark, and 1981.

Type 1 vs. Type 2

The 1981-S mintmark was hand-punched into dies and evolved during production. Earlier dies produced the softer, filled Type 1, whereas later dies yielded the crisp Type 2. Many collectors seek both varieties.
