Type 2 Silver Eagle

Weinman’s revered Walking Liberty motif, a depiction of Liberty striding toward the sunrise draped in the American flag, carrying laurel and oak branches. For the 2021 Silver Eagle Type 2 release, the Mint utilized modern imaging and the original master tools to restore and sharpen specific elements—Liberty’s gown, the folds of the flag, and the sun’s rays—bringing crisper lines and enhanced depth to the classic design.
