U.S. Mint's 2026 Production Schedule Celebrates America's 250th Anniversary

We hope you are ready for what is to come from the United States Mint in 2026! With the 250th anniversary of the birth of the nation, mixed with the addition of new products and the ousting of old, the numismatic hobby will be buzzing all year round. Looking at the production schedule, let us relay a brief synopsis of what is to come in the next few months.

The 2026 Native American dollar will be available in 25-coin rolls and 100-coin bags on January 27th. Minted at Philadelphia and Denver, the coins will honor Polly Cooper, a member of the Oneida Indian Nation. She helped save the lives of Continental soldiers during the American Revolutionary War and the battle of Valley Forge.

February will start the first release of the Semiquincentennial quarter dollars. The first will feature the Mayflower Compact as it honors the colony at Plymouth and the Compact as a precursor to the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. The 2026-dated quarters will be available from Philadelphia and Denver in a two-roll set and 100-coin bags.

On February 6th, the introduction to the new Charters of Freedom Platinum Proof Eagle Series will begin with the Declaration of Independence. Minted at West Point, the 1oz .9995 Proof coin is the first of three coins. The second and last coins will showcase the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

While not given an official date, the first of the Best of Mint products is seen wedged between the products on the schedule for release next month. The 1916 Mercury Dime Gold Coin and Silver Medal Set will be produced from West Point and Philadelphia.

Rounding out the month will be the 2026 Proof American Silver Eagle and the 2026 Congratulations Set. Originally scheduled for January, the Mint decided to push back the release dates due to the continued uptick in the precious metals market. The Proof Silver Eagle will be minted at West Point and featured a dual date of 1776-2026 to honor the 250th anniversary of the nation. It will also feature a 250th Liberty Bell Privy on the obverse. The Congratulations Set Proof Silver Eagle will be issued from Philadelphia, a first for the series.

The only product listed on the schedule for the month of March currently is the second release in the Semiquincentennial quarters. It will feature George Washington on the obverse and reference the Revolutionary War. The coins will be available in rolls and bags from Philadelphia and Denver.

The Spring of 2026 is locked and loaded as the DC Comic Art Three Medal Set featuring the 2025 Superheroes (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman) will be released as well as the following: 2026 Proof Gold Eagle 4-Coin Set (as well as individual releases), Wisconsin American Innovation Dollar, Silver Proof Set, Best of the Mint 1916 Standing Liberty Quarter Dollar Gold Coin and Silver Medal Set, Semi quincentennial Half Dollar, Proof American Gold Buffalo, California American Innovation Dollar, Comic Art Gold Coin and Silver Medals featuring Supergirl, and a 2026 American Silver & Gold Eagle in Enhanced Uncirculated condition.

As always, dates are subject to change as the Mint has moved around releases time and time again.
