The United States Mint will continue its Spring releases with the 2026 Proof American Gold Buffalo tomorrow at 12pm EST.
Struck at West Point, the annual .9999 fine 24kt gold coin will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the birth of the nation with the dual date of 1776 ~ 2026 on the obverse. The Liberty Bell privy, along with the 250, will also make an appearance just above the left shoulder of the Native American chief in profile.
The 1oz Proof coin will come in a black presentation case accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. The product limit is set at 15,000 with a household limit of just one. There is currently no mintage limit. The retail is still to be determined at this time.
