2026 Enhanced Uncirculated Gold American Eagle On Sale Tomorrow From U.S. Mint

The United States Mint will continue its celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary tomorrow with a special issue, one-year-only American Gold Eagle.

Limited to just 6,000, a 2026 1oz Gold Eagle featured in an Enhanced Uncirculated finish will be available. Struck at West Point, the $50 22-karat gold coin will feature the dual date of 1776 ~ 2026 and the special 250 liberty bell privy mark on the obverse.

Celebrating the semiquincentennial, the first-ever enhanced finish on the annual release will combine laser-frost with laser-finish. The frost gives the shiny metallic effect while the finish gives a matte look. Combined, the stunning coin will showcase the high contrast between the two.

The coin will come in the Mint’s packaging accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. The household limit is set at just one.
