The United States Mint’s next annual release will come in the form of the 2026 Uncirculated (Mint) Coin Set tomorrow. Beginning at 12pm EST, you can purchase the set for $124.50.
Continuing America’s 250th anniversary celebration, the 20-coin collection will feature one-year-only issues from the semiquincentennial coin and medal program. Containing two cards of 10 coins each, the coins will be struck at Philadelphia and Denver. The half dollar, all five quarters, and the dime will be included in each card in addition to a Jefferson nickel, Native American dollar, and a Lincoln cent. Despite the United States Mint ceasing penny production in the Fall of 2025, they will continue striking numismatic pennies that will come ONLY in annual sets.
All five semiquincentennial quarters will be represented and will honor the following historical moments in our nation’s foundation:
- Mayflower Compact
- Revolutionary War
- Declaration of Independence
- U.S. Constitution
- Gettysburg Address
Both the half dollar and dime will see a new design for this year only. In place of the Kennedy half dollar is the Enduring Liberty half dollar, which depicts the Statue of Liberty and the passing of her torch. The Roosevelt dime has been replaced with the Emerging Liberty dime, which features Liberty on the obverse of the ten-cent denomination for the first time since 1945.
The Native American dollar honors Polly Cooper on this year’s reverse design. Part of the Oneida Indian Nation, Cooper helped save the lives of Continental soldiers after the harsh winter they spent at Valley Forge (1777-78). The reverse design shows Cooper holding a basket as she shares with General George Washington the Oneidas’ gift of corn. The design reflects the sacrifice and courage made by the people of the Oneida Nation during the American Revolutionary War.
There is no mintage limit set despite there being a product limit of 300,000. The initial household limit is set to 10.
