The George Washington Commemorative Half Dollar marked the first U.S. commemorative coin from the modern era as the United States Mint had not produced one since the early 1950s. Certified by NGC in PF69 Ultra Cameo, this 90% silver commemorative half dollar was struck at San Francisco.

REVERSE: Washington's home, Mount Vernon, is featured on the reverse along with a small heraldic eagle below it. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, and HALF DOLLAR.
