The United States Mint is gearing up for their next big release tomorrow with the 2025 Proof American Gold Buffalo Coin from West Point.
Struck in .9999 fine 24kt gold, the obverse of the coin depicts James Earle Fraser’s Native American portrait and features LIBERTY and 2025 inscribed around the design. The reverse shows an American buffalo with the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, IN GOD WE TRUST, $50, 1 OZ., and .9999 FINE GOLD.
Featured in a Proof finish, the stunning annual $50 denomination coin from West Point will come encapsulated and inside of a clamshell black presentation case with an outer box sleeve. It will also be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. The current product limit is set at 14,000 with no initial mintage or household limit.
