While you may have already seen the circulated coins offered already in some form or fashion, the United States Mint is finally gearing up for their launch of the uncirculated quality versions of the 2026 Enduring Liberty Half Dollar. Available in rolls and bags beginning at 12pm EST on May 26th, the coins will come from the Philadelphia and Denver Mints.
Struck as part of the Semiquincentennial coinage for our nation’s 250th anniversary, this one-year-only special issue half dollar portrays the Statue of Liberty on the obverse. She appears to be looking outward towards the future as the inscriptions surrounding her read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 1776 ~ 2026.
The reverse depicts Liberty passing her torch as the flame that trails signals momentum for a new generation. E PLURIBUS UNUM, HALF DOLLAR, and KNOWLEDGE IS THE ONLY GUARDIAN OF TRUE LIBERTY are inscribed.
The two-roll set (one from each Mint) will retail at $60 and be limited to 60,000 in product and two in household order. The 200-coin bags (approx. 100 coins from each Mint) will be limited to 30,000 and to two per household. They will retail for $180.
