2026 Reverse Proof Morgan and Peace Dollars Up Next For U.S. Mint

Tomorrow will mark the release of the first Morgan and Peace Dollar product for 2026. Beginning at 12pm EST, the United States Mint will make available the 2026 Reverse Proof Morgan Silver Dollar and Peace Silver Dollar. Sold individually, each will retail for $173.00.

Perhaps one of the most underrated releases from this year’s production schedule, the coins will be struck at the Philadelphia Mint instead of San Francisco. To spice it up even more, both will bear the ‘P’ mint mark on the reverse, something that does not always occur with Philadelphia products. Each will be limited to 250,000.

Struck in .999 fine silver, the Morgan Silver Dollar Reverse Proof Coin will feature the same design on the obverse with the addition of the dual date of 1776 ~ 2026 at the bottom and the Liberty Bell Privy Mark to the right of Liberty. The reverse will depict the eagle and once again, the ‘P’ mintmark just below the wreath.

The Reverse Proof Peace Silver Dollar will bear the dual date of 1776 ~ 2026 at the bottom with the Liberty Bell Privy mark to the left of Liberty. The ‘P’ mint mark on the reverse is located to the left of the eagle’s tailfeathers.

Both silver dollars will come in blue presentation boxes accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. The initial household limit is set at 10 each.
